    What was your first impression when you came in?

    Outstanding gym. Something really different and new. I could tell instantly it was high quality equipment. The staff were so lovely and friendly, which made me feel so much more at ease.

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    This gym is different to the ones I’ve been to before as it really focuses on community as well as being a high end, quality gym. The staff are always happy to help out and I never see equipment continually in disrepair like I did at my old gym.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    I’d really like a 6 pack before I’m 25, so my workout really revolves around a decent burst of cardio and then core workouts that were given to me by the staff.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    Yes, I’m becoming more and more fit. I’m focusing more on how to take the healthy options now I see progress.

    Why do you like The Club Gym? What is your favourite thing about it?

    I have to say the friendly and helpful staff really make it for me. No one makes you feel inferior or intimidates you. The equipment is second to none and really makes a difference to my workout and progress. I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone.

    Fresh, different and friendly

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    The gym is welcoming right from the moment you step in.  The staff are always friendly, willing to chat, help and advise you on anything you need, even when it is busy.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Hoping to lose weight and tone up.  General all-round training for fitness and well-being.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    I’ve personally been a nightmare and not focused much.  However, now in a regular routine and only at the start though already seeing fitness improve despite not much weight loss yet.

    Why do you like The Club Gym? What is your favourite thing about it?

    The club has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and it’s always enjoyable being at the gym, something i’ve not really seen before.  Staff are always on hand, friendly and have excellent knowledge of their industry.

    Wow! Looks amazing.

    The general feel, the lighting, the staff, even the other members, everyone is always so friendly, never feel like I’m being judged or need to worry I look like a daft wee lassie playing with weights. Also has more equipment than other gyms I’ve been to.

    Great gym with a good range of equipment and friendly staff.

    I think that you are more than just a number.  The staff are always there to help and assist with your goals.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Cardio and Weight training and the main goal is to lose weight and feel healthy.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    I definitely feel better after the PT sessions however I need to attend more to meet my goals.

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    Impressed with the club feel.

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    The whole look of the gym & you really get to know the trainers.

    Mostly do classes as I’m clueless otherwise and just to be fit and lose some weight.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    When I’m on track with my eating and attending classes I noticed great results (fell off the wagon after holidays but getting back on track again).

    Why do you like The Club Gym? What is your favourite thing about it?

    The general feel of the place, trainers are always so friendly and I enjoy being in a smaller group in classes rather than in with 40 people in your usual mainstream gyms.

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    First came in during construction to start PT and immediately felt welcomed by the team already on site. Their enthusiasm was evident and the gym looked like no other gym I’ve been to.

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    Absolutely everything! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I feel comfortable asking any of them for help and it’s clear they are all passionate about what they do. The general atmosphere in the gym is different too in that all the customers talk to each other unlike other gyms which are quite clinical and you’re just another number. The lighting is cool too!

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Mainly weight training during PT sessions. My goals are just to generally feel healthier and good about myself.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    Definitely stronger and more confident in my capabilities. When I first started I could barely do a single bicep curl but now I’m seeing the weights go up slowly but surely and it’s helping me in my job where I need to move a lot of heavy boxes.

    Why do you like The Club Gym? What is your favourite thing about it?

    The vast range of equipment is excellent and I’ve never had to wait around for machines to become available. I love the atmosphere in the gym, it always picks me up and sets me on a good mood for the rest of my day. It’s also good to see all the staff regularly working out and training too, it shows they practice what they preach!

    Just a big thank you to Louise and the guys for creating a gym that is not a scary place to be for those of us who were once self-conscious about working out.

    The staff without question. I always felt intimated in other gyms but don’t feel that way at Club Gym

    Due to other events in my personal life losing weight has not happened if for me in the last year but the club gym has been a lifeline and in particular Simon. I have suffered significantly with mental illness and Simon support through what has been a really tough time has been second to none! When I could face coming into the gym I always felt immediately better so this year I am determined to get there more. I am not sure that at any other gym you would have got the support, patience and thoughfullness that has been provided.

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    How are they going to turn this into a gym but seriously my first visit was before you officially opened as I was doing my Personal Training sessions with Simon and who would have believed the work site I walked into could have become the great gym it is now. The range of equipment is superb and the atmosphere in the club makes it feel like a great place to work out. The staff all greet you when they see you and ask how your training is going with genuine interest.

    I do a full range of training with a personal trainer and attending classes. My fitness goals are just to maintain my body and if possible get rid of that wee bit of belly that I have

    I am making a steady progression towards that flat stomach and defined abs with the encouragement of my PT and other staff members when attending classes.

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    It looked so chic, very well laid out and with great atmospheric lighting

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    First it is all of the people who work here. I have been welcomed and engaged at a personal level every single time I have used the gym. What’s more I always feel that everyone is genuine when speaking to me. This approach adds so much to the gym experience. Then there is the equipment which is simply awesome both in terms of its quality and the range available. As a consequence it’s always an exciting event to visit the gym. Quite simply it’s by far the best gym I have ever used ( and believe me I have used a good number). I now always feel motivated in a way that rarely happened at other gyms. This really helps me to aim as high as I am able to achieve my goals

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    A combination of training with Simon Kennedy, and weights and conditioning. I am type 2 diabetic which I control without medication through exercise and diet. I have achieved excellent blood sugar control now for 14 years so ensuring that this continues remains my principal goal. Keeping weight under control and building strength are my other goals. Some greater muscle definition is a welcome effect of pursuing my basic goals.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    Increased enthusiasm as well as increased strength. I am enjoying the weights routines I now do

    The fact that everyone involved has created such a warm, generous and inspirational place to work out in. Even the members speak to each other, so rare in so many gyms today!!

    Appreciated how welcome everyone made me feel, as I had some time off training. Felt really nervous and embarrassed at coming back as I have put on weight and ruined my progress from before. Took me ages to build up the courage to go back but I should never have worried as all the trainers were all there encouraging me and there to help. Even the other members are really friendly. Not like any gym I’ve been to. Excellent!

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    Gym seemed different with the lighting and DJ booth! Creates such a good atmosphere for training in. For the first time I actually look forward to coming to the gym!

    Other than the unique atmosphere the staff (& other members) are all so friendly, welcoming and approachable.

    What was your first impression when you came in?

    Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, very different to other gyms, small and intimate. Not intimidating like other gyms, very personal.

    Equipment is far superior and staff/PT are approachable and always willing to help.

    After losing so much weight I wanted to tone up and improve my general fitness due to asthma. Weight training and PT sessions.

    More motivated to put the work in and through regular check in with PT. I have seen improvements in appearance and strength.

    PTs go out of their way to get to know you, assist you in meeting your goals

    Training – weights and general cardio. Goals – lose fat, build muscle. Improved overall fitness.

    Weightloss. Increase capacity when weight training. Better knowledge base in terms of technique and nutrition in order to achieve my goals.

    As above. Gym is never overly crowded like with budget gyms. Staff’s energy levels and encouragement. Live DJ is a clear motivator during sessions.

    Having training in budget gyms and health clubs The Club Gym was a stand out. Great atmosphere, great equipments and great staff.

    The atmosphere, the tunes and everything else in the gym. Especially the trainers – everyone is willing to help out and chat. In other places PTs are walking about looking menacing but even Derek is not as angry as he looks.

    I was so nervous but had a nice atmosphere and everyone was dead friendly – felt stupid for not knowing anything but no judgement – was lovely!

    Loads! Leaner, more toned, feel more healthy, eating better and have healthier attitude to food. Been amazing inside and out. Grown in confidence majorly. Came from couple years of illness and abusive relationship – been amazing to get control of my body, look after myself and build myself into a fit and healthy lady.

    Leanne’s PT sessions have been life changing! All the staff are ace, so friendly, come as you are attitude with all staff and other members. Love classes, lighting, tunes. Happy days!

    Excellent look and feel of the place and friendly staff.

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    It is a lot more focused on the members than other gyms in the area.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Weight training

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    Progress in strength and love of free weights

    What makes this gym different from the other gyms you have been in?

    The staff are friendly and customer focused. There aren’t any egos.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Mostly cardio classes. I train for powerlifting and judo out with the gym.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    I’ve been able to maintain my weight class easier without losing much muscle.

    I like the friendliness of the staff and Steph’s classes are my favourite.

    This is what Glasgow was missing. Super friendly staff that didn’t give off a judgemental vibe

    How amazing the staff are – they are member-focused and very approachable, especially Steph. They make you feel at ease.

    What kind of training do you do and what are your fitness goals?

    Mostly weights. To look fantastic and turn heads.

    What results have you noticed since you’ve been at The Club?

    Work clothes are getting too big. Generally focusing on eating better, starting to feel much better about myself.

    There is no other club like it. The staff make the experience so much better! Love the protein coffees!
